the bathroom was well stocked with loo rolls, towels and soap. the tea and coffee facilities were great, but you had to be inventive to fill the kettle from the sink. check in was easy, friendly staff, and the pub was busy with people enjoying the vibe.
our room was directly above the bar so there was way too much noise at night. plus it was cold and the heater couldn't keep up.

Double room with private bathroom delivers adequacy for solo travelers. Recently refurbished, it boasts a solid en-suite and a relatively clean overall ambiance.
Wifi let me down completely, forcing a phone hotspot instead. An overwhelming level of noise from entertainment on-site kept me from relaxing, and it would’ve been nice to have been informed about this beforehand. The TV's placement could use some adjustment since it’s a bit small and not positioned well away from the curtains. Plus, a kettle with better accessibility would improve the overall room functionality.

A decent option for a weekend pause in Nottingham with good price-quality ratio. The fish and chips special was really good. Just remember to hang the cleaning sign on your door if needed.

Family Will Enjoy the Experience
The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable, more than I expected. The bar snacks were pretty good, and the landlord was friendly, chatting with us as we left. It's not often you get a spot like that where you feel welcomed.
It wasn't cheap, but honestly it was still an acceptable price for what we got.

Perfect base for Wollaton Park events
Spent a night here and it was just fine. The room was tidy and the ensuite was super clean, even though it was a bit small. Good spot for parking too. We had a tough time finding breakfast since the inn didn't open until noon, but ended up grabbing a bite at a nearby cafe. Would recommend it!
